President and CEO of Bliemeisters, owner of Precision Built Inc, and a certified general contractor since 2005, Jason Doig is determined at making the highest quality of custom cabinets, and sustaining a standard of 44 years of business, by employing the countries finest craftsmen. Jason’s decision to purchase the company stems from his passion for craftsmanship, and his history working with Bliemeisters prior to ownership. Jason said when he was approached by the previous owner about purchasing the company, he didn’t hesitate. “I had Bliemeisters cabinets in my house before I owned the company, and their reputation made it an easy decision to buy into.”

As a Sequim native of 50 years, a benefactor to his community, and a Carnegie Hero Medal Recipient, Jason has a great sense of pride and commitment to Sequim. Jason is a proud board member of the Trey Green Guild, a charity that raises money in support of uncompensated care at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where he donates cabinets and various types of furniture. Jason also donates to local golf charity events, hosts and cooks fish dinners for charities, and sponsors high school sports.

A motto Jason lives by is ‘Work hard, play hard’ and he does just that. When Jason isn’t working, he enjoys snowboarding, fishing, golfing and traveling with his family. Jason is a devoted husband and father to his wife and co-owner, Jenifer Doig and their two kids, Ethan and Rylie.

Lead designer, Dave Horvath, has worked at Bliemeisters since 1992. He has been in the construction industry since he was 16 years old. When asked what he enjoys about working at Bliemeisters, he replied “Considering I have done this for most of my life and I still love what I do says a lot about how I feel about this company and the work that I do.”

Dave enjoys working with customers and getting to know them throughout the design process. One of his favorite parts about his job is when he is challenged by his clients and their designs. Because Dave has been designing custom cabinets for a long time, there isn’t much he hasn’t seen. So, when he is met with clients that want something fun and different, he gets excited about learning new things and creating products that they will love.

Production manager Todd Manchester has worked for Bliemeisters’ for 25 years, and has since become an integral part of the company. His talent is unparalleled, and as a result, he wears many hats for Bliemeisters, such as designing, building, and passing on his expertise to novice wood workers.

At the age of 15 Todd started working at a wood working shop, for what would be 11 years, where he acquired the skills and knowledge he has today. He says his loyalty to the company stems from his passion for wood working and creating quality products. Todd appreciates the values and standard of work Bliemeisters represents.

Todd spends his free time restoring old Chevy’s and making specialty wood work for friends and family. Some of his favorite things to build are mid-century modern furniture and mantles.
